We have a friendly staff and great veterinarians to meet the needs of all your furry family members. Providing them with the best health care is our mission, and doing so with compassion and the highest level of expertise is our goal each and every day.
Dr. Jami Rose
Dr. Rose is a NC native who grew up in Pilot, NC just a few minutes outside Zebulon. She attended NCSU for both her Undergraduate and Doctorate degrees. After several years practicing at a nationally known practice on the Carolina coast, she and her husband returned to Zebulon. She’s excited to be working in her hometown community at Zebulon Animal Hospital. Dr. Rose’s special interests include Internal Medicine, Geriatric Care, and Dentistry.
Tisha, Practice Manager
Tisha was born in Alexandria, Virginia and has lived in various parts of the Continental US and Europe due to her parent’s military background. She has always had an interest in animals and went to North Carolina State University for her Bachelors in Animal Science. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2000, and has been at Zebulon Animal Hospital since 2004. Her special interests include preventive care, parasitology, and client education.
Tisha’s hobbies are eclectic, and include playing brass music (primarily trombone), working with Habitat for Humanity, bowling, playing darts (currently in the Raleigh Dart League), video games, gourmet cooking, and traveling… to name a few.
Jennifer, Veterinary Technician
Jennifer DeMarco, RVT, grew up on the mean, cold streets of Buffalo, New York. She arrived in sunny North Carolina one Sunday in 2007, to begin a career in her long-standing interest of working with animals. This path eventually took her to Central Carolina Community College in 2010, where she obtained her AS in Veterinary Medical Technology and graduated with honors in 2012. That same year, Jennifer joined the staff at Zebulon Animal Hospital and has been here ever since. She also manages the Five County Spay/Neuter Clinic on site here on Wednesdays.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys playing bass in a local rock band, pin up modeling, and participates in the Raleigh Zombie Walk every Halloween.
CC, Veterinary Assistant
Christin also known as CC is a recent graduate from the two year Vet Tech program at Miller Motte College. She is now living her dream as a veterinary assistant at Zebulon Animal Hospital and is striving to take her exams to become a Registered Technician. CC completed her externship at RVH and has been working with them since April 2016. She feels very blessed to have been offered a job before graduating college. CC has always loved animals and hopes to one day rehabilitate animals of all kinds on her very own farm.
Tara was born and raised in Ohio but is enjoying her recently transplanted southern roots. She has worked with animals for over twenty years with the last twelve spent in veterinary medicine. She loves all aspects of veterinary care but has a special place in her heart for exotics and nontraditional pets. When not at work you will find her outside hiking, kayaking, camping or working in her garden. Tara shares her life with her fiancé Lynwood, spoiled collie mix Fig, a sassy kitty named Chloe and two mischievous ferrets.
Fig is a bigger than life collie/golden retriever mix whom despite his northern upbringing has embraced his southern roots. When not hard at work behind the reception desk at Zebulon Animal Hospital he can be found hiking, kayaking, camping and protecting his yards from marauding squirrels. His pack consists of two doting parents, typical bossy older sister feline and two loving ferrets.
